Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 230

Lost Creek Wilderness, Spring 2005

This is one of the Troops favorites Backpack trips.  Every year we head out into the Lost Creek Wilderness and follow the Goose Creek Trail up to the boulders.  This trip offers almost everything a single trail can offer.  We get to go up, we get to go down, we get to go up some more.  There's water, rocks, trees... its all here.  After passing the Historic Pumphouse, you veer off the trail into the boulders, our home for the next couple of days.  After you get camp set up, you can then enjoy some of the most spectacular views that Colorado has to offer.  The boulders offer the boys unlimited avenues of adventure and exploration while at the same time they make great noise buffers, allowing the Leaders numerous opportunities to explore the benefits of the afternoon nap....Aaahhh,
