Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 230

 Meadow Woods Service Project

Dakotah hooked up with Dave Buttery from the city and put together a service project for one of our meetings in October.  We all showed up, with shovels and rakes (someone drove a lawn tractor from home) and set about spreading compost and wild flower seeds along the large bank overlooking the new baseball diamond.  Primary purpose is to help prevent erosion from runoff on the embankment.  There was a lot of shoveling, loading, dumping, spreading, raking and horseplay going on, but the job got done.  To see the fruits of their labor, next spring when you pull in to the Meadow Woods parking lot, look north to see the greenery and wild flowers.
