Oktoberfest 2006
Troop 230 was asked to help out as needed with the City's Oktoberfest celebration this year. We had our first snow the night before, so it was pretty cold when the boys started showing up in the morning. They were tasked garbage collection, clearing of tables in the big tent and a sundry of other duties, but mostly they helped run the fun-zone activities. Not only was this a great opportunity for the boys to provide service to the community, but the troop also received a check from the city council for the assistance.
